Because of recent regulation, all members and customers of financial institutions must now opt-in to keep or receive Overdraft Privilege Service - also called courtesy pay - on debit card and ATM transactions. What exactly does that mean?
- Unless you opt-in, your debit card transaction at a retail location will be denied when there are insufficient funds in your account to cover the expense.
- If you don't opt-in, you won't be able to withdraw emergency cash at ATMs when your account balance doesn't cover the withdrawal.
When you do opt-in, you allow us to cover these and other such unexpected expenses, so that you can make debit card transactions or ATM cash withdrawals when you need to. Overdraft Privilege Service is a life-line when emergencies happen. Don't be caught without it!
You can opt-in for courtesy pay on your ATM and debit transactions by:
- Printing an Authorization Form and mailing it to us or fax to (662) 434-8406.
- Visiting any of our four locations.
- Call us at (662) 434-6052, and we'll mail you an authorization form.
